13th September - Nicolas Jackson gave an interview to the Chelsea official website where he discussed his current situation.

On his performance in his first season:

I'm not entirely satisfied with only scoring 17 goals because I didn't have any injury troubles throughout the season, but it's okay. It's an acceptable performance, and I hope to do better in the future. At the moment, I'm still in a learning process, improving my skills every day.

Adapting to Chelsea hasn't been too difficult for me, as I speak English and I'm quite sociable. The only issue for me is the weather, but I've gotten used to it. On the field, I consider everyone as my friend. I hope we can perform better this year than last year and win some trophies.

On his playing style:

I have always been an attacking player. When I was younger, I played more as a number 10 or a false 9 because I liked to move around and occupy deeper positions. When I came to Europe, Emery transformed me into a number 9 role, where I wait for the ball at my feet, move more inside the box, and try to make runs behind the opponents. Emery changed everything, and I'm grateful for that.

On his goals:

I want to win trophies and make Chelsea the best team. Additionally, I want to achieve personal honors and help my national team. I'm working hard to accomplish these goals, but the team is the most important thing. I hope to win many trophies with the team and share those moments with my family. That's my goal.
